• ✔️ Reduce overhead costs

  • ✔️Increase operating efficiency

  • ✔️ Improve cybersecurity

According to a study by the SMB group, small and medium-sized businesses investing in digital transformation are likely to increase their revenue by 1.9 times.

Digital technologies are a key part of modern business models. Like many organizations, you are also looking for ways to effectively adopt and utilize these technologies.

But the digital landscape is so vast... so many choices... so confusing! Which digital initiatives would really help your business to grow?

  • Pick the technologies your competition is using

  • Use the technologies your employees have used in their previous job

  • Ask your IT service providers for recommendations

  • Jump into implementing new technology or digital tools without fully understanding the potential impact on your business

  • Focus on short-term gains or cost savings rather than long-term success of the initiative

  • Don’t analyze your business's current processes, systems, and skillsets before implementing new technology or digital tools

  • Don’t allocate sufficient resources, including time and budget, to properly plan and execute your initiatives

  • Don’t have a plan in place to measure and track the success of your initiatives

  • Poor adoption and low usage of the new technology or digital tools by employees, leading to a lack of return on investment

  • Difficulty in achieving the desired business outcomes and goals due to a lack of clear objectives and metrics for success

  • Difficulty in scaling the initiative or integrating it into existing processes and systems

  • Resistance and dissatisfaction from employees, who may be frustrated by the lack of training and support provided

  • Difficulty in measuring and demonstrating the value of the initiative to stakeholders, leading to difficulty in securing additional funding or resources

  • High costs due to rework, lack of participation, and lack of efficiency

  • A negative impact on employee productivity and morale, resulting in high turnover rate

So, what do you do?

And, what you get …

Not quite what you were aiming for, right?

What you’re missing is a digital adoption plan. It is a strategy that outlines the steps your business should take to adopt and effectively use digital technologies, such as websites, mobile apps, social media, cloud-based tools, and automation software.

A digital adoption plan will include goals for your organization's use of digital technologies, a roadmap for implementing those technologies, and a plan for measuring and evaluating the success of the plan.

By following a digital adoption plan, your organization can stay competitive in today's digital age and avoid falling behind competitors, decreased productivity, difficulty attracting talent, and other risks.

Introducing Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP). It has been created by the Federal government to help Canadian SMEs like yours choose the digital initiatives that are right for your business.

The program offers up to $15,000 as Federal grant to consult a digital expert and develop a digital adoption plan that’s tailored for your business.

Once the plan is ready, you may be eligible to get up to $100,000 in interest-free loan from BDC to implement your digital adoption plan.

Following a well prepared Digital Adoption Plan will lead to …

Increased efficiency

By automating manual processes and using digital tools, your organization can reduce the time and effort required to complete tasks and improve efficiency. For example, by using a digital invoicing system, you can save time and reduce the risk of errors compared to manually creating and sending invoices. And get paid faster, too!

Digital tools can help reduce errors and improve accuracy in data entry and other processes. Using a digital form can help ensure that data is entered correctly and consistently, compared to manually entering data on paper.

Improved accuracy

Better collaboration among team members, regardless of location, is key to productivity. Digital tools, like a project management software, can allow team members to work on tasks together, track progress, and communicate in real-time, even if they are in different parts of the world.

Enhanced collaboration

Increased competitiveness

By adopting digital technologies, your organization can keep pace with competitors and remain competitive in your industry. For example, using a customer relationship management (CRM) system can help your organization build and maintain relationships with customers more effectively, which can lead to increased sales and revenue.

Improved customer experience

Digital tools can enable your organization to deliver a better customer experience by providing quick and convenient access to information and services. An example is using a chatbot on your company's website can allow your customers to get answers to their questions and access information more quickly, improving their overall experience with your company.

Reduced costs

By streamlining processes and reducing the need for manual labor, digital adoption can help lower your costs. For example, using a digital asset management system can help you organization track and manage your assets more efficiently, reducing the need for manual inventory management.

Improved data management

The right digital tools can help your organization collect, store, and analyze data more effectively, leading to better decision-making and improved business outcomes. Using a business intelligence tool can allow your organization to analyze data from multiple sources and use the insights to make more informed decisions about your business.

Reduced security risks

Adopting digital technologies without proper security controls can introduce new security risks, such as data breaches and cyber attacks. Without a secure digital adoption plan, your organization may be unprepared to address these risks, leading to potential damage to your organization's reputation and financial losses.

DigiRISQ can help you to create a digital adoption plan meeting the requirements for the CDAP grant and BDC loan.

Instead of imposing cybersecurity initiatives, he identified our digital adoption opportunities and helped infuse cybersecurity into them. He displayed the value of the cybersecurity initiatives as they were aligned with the business’ goals and objectives. Nawab connects with his clients at a personal level that is rare to find today.
